SANTHWANAM is a
socio-cultural-service organization registered with Indian Embassy in Kuwait
(Regn. INDEMB/KWT/ASSN/112), providing direct and indirect care to diseased,
distressed, homeless, highly needy individuals & poor families in India,
particularly in the rural areas of Kerala.
In an increasingly commercial and
technical era where people are having myriad fancies, the activities and
services of SANTHWANAM is absolutely devoted to human welfare and is committed
to helping those in acute distress. SANTHWANAM has today moved to the status of
pioneering relief and service organization providing assistance for medical
treatment to the poor. Since its inception in 2001, the organization has surged
forward to a state wide presence with medical relief to more than 2900 poor
patients and underprivileged families. At the forefront during periods of crisis
and natural calamities like Tsunami, it has helped other aid organizations to
rehabilitate affected children by undertaking the expenses of food, cloth,
medicine, shelter, education etc.
SANTHWANAM join hands
with other social welfare organizations like SOS Childrens village, Abhaya,
PRATEEKSHA Special School, AMHA, SEON Ashram Trust for rehabilitating physically
and mentally retarded poor children and adults.
