SANTHWANAM witnessed and extraordinary support and
tenderness by our well wishers and members for whatever the gracious mission we
have considered yet for the poor and needy people in the society.
• Started by a group of 9 friends. Joined more than 1600 dedicated
like-minded individuals in a span of 9 years.
• Provided medical assistance for a total amount of more than IRS.
140,00,000/- • More than 2800 patients & their families benefited by 9 years of
its service.
• Continuing assistance to average of 40 – 45 poor individuals / families
for medical treatment per month.
• Participated in Tsunami rehabilitation program by sponsoring 17 children
at SOS Children’s Village in 2005.
• Sponsored Onasadhya to inmates of “Abhaya” rehabilitation center for
mental patients in 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009.
• Sponsored Onasadhya & Onakkodi to 300 street children rescued from beggar
mafia and sheltered at Janaseva Sisubhavan, Aluva in 2006 & 2007.
• Helped 60 Endosulfan Victims of various villages of Kasargod District in
December 2006.
• Provided financial assistance to the inmates of Mentally & Physically
Handicapped children and adults to AMHA (Association for Mentally Handicaped
Adults), Thrissur & Pratheeksha Special School, Calicut in 2007.
• Financially assisted 8 poor & needy persons to take advantages of Amnesty
Scheme introduced by Kuwait Government in 2007 & 2008.
• Provided financial assistance to 24 workers in a labour camp in Kuwait
for their daily expenses, who were persecuted by their sponsors.
• Started a project at Attappady Gov. Tribal Hospital to provide effective
medical treatment to the tribal community by appointing 4 tribal assistant
nurses in the hospital since 2008. Continue sponsoring their monthly salaries
and sponsored development fund for Attappady U&V Paliative Care Clinic for 1
year.
• Extended financial assistance to 6 Pain & Palliative Care units, working
in Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram & Kozhikode districts in 2009.
• Financial assistance to the people of a small village (Pasuppara) in
Idukki district, who are the victims of indiscriminate usage of harmful
pesticides in tea plantations.
• Sponsored continuous monthly financial support to Master BENSON, 14 year
old HIV infected orphan child at Kollam District of Kerala.
